At FreightTrust our objective is simple: we want our platform to be the center for your trucking needs and help streamline your supply chain operations by cutting financial, time, and resource waste.
To do this we employ a number of cutting-edge technologies to manage and maintain the security of your digital documentation and sensitive data – including our integral blockchain technology which enables high security while simultaneously giving instant access and transparency to your own data.
Who Can We Help?
Our platform enables essentially anyone in the trucking supply chain to simplify their operations as well as fundamentally giving them more oversight over their shipments and shipping documents. This goes for brokers, carriers, 3PLs, shippers – everyone will find a use for FreightTrust!
How Do We Do It?
From within the FreightTrust platform, you are able to easily set up a new shipment with all required shipping documents and information tied to the submission, such as cargo type, weight, origin and destination, distance, temperature, and other metrics to help you and all concerned parties stay informed.
Digital Documents
Once the shipment is set up, all necessary shipping documents are digitally created and accessible to you via either our desktop platform or mobile app. This can include the Bill of Lading, CMR note, Load Confirmations, and more – essentially all the documents your operation needs to keep track of, depending on where you’re located. All shipping information will be automatically added to these digital documents, and they can then be digitally signed with 100% legality across North America, the EU, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand – either on a computer or on-screen via our mobile app.

What this boils down to is that you no longer have to worry about printing, managing, and transporting your shipping documentation – it is instantly and securely available to all the relevant parties, and is stored on our blockchain platform so you don’t have to deal with folders full of paper ever again. This isn’t just good for your bottom line, but also your environmental footprint, something which is becoming increasingly important to take into consideration in today’s world of heightened wastefulness – and something we would like to play a part in helping reduce.
Audit Trail
As soon as the shipment is in the system an audit trail is started which keeps track of all actions that are carried out in association with it. This ranges from the shipment being picked up, dropped off, new signatures being added to shipping documents, tracking updates, and more. These events can additionally be automated via the use of so-called parametric smart contracts which trigger when certain actions take place (or parameters are met), such as reaching a specific geographical location.

Having this audit trail visible during transport – and especially after a shipment has been delivered – is critically important to ensure transparency with customers and between yourself and carriers, as well as helping pinpoint steps in your supply chain where inefficiencies make themselves known. A thorough audit trail from points A to B offers an abundance of data to base informed decisions on for future shipments. Additionally, the knowledge that all information is linked to a blockchain, and is therefore immutable, provides the confidence that the data is accurate and cannot be tampered with.
Predictive A.I.
Our predictive A.I. gives a delivery window probability percentage for every shipment. The A.I. takes a number of data points into consideration, such as past carrier reliability, route bottlenecks, traffic, weather, and more. The data that you provide from your own past shipments are segmented and only available to your own A.I. calculations, meaning analysis of your own network can’t give a competitor a potential edge. These predictions will help you make more informed decisions and keep your vehicles on the most optimized routes.
Notifications
The beauty of our instantly updated system is that you can immediately be made aware of any issues connected to any of your shipments, such as delays or successful deliveries, via trigger-based notifications. These can take the form of standard push notifications on your mobile device, as well as SMS, call, or email notifications. All of these can be customized to make sure you have as many or as few updates as are necessary for your shipments to run smoothly.

Accurate Geo-tracking Of Vehicles
No matter whether you operate a fleet consisting of 10 vehicles or 10,000, it is important to be able to locate them at all times, either for shipment tracking or other purposes, such as losing contact with a driver. Tracking can be automated to update on a regular basis or can be set up with manual requests depending on your business needs. Location updates are also tied to our audit trail so the detailed route a shipment has taken can be looked into if necessary.
Integrations
Should you require it, we will work closely with you to integrate FreightTrust with any existing systems you are using and want to continue working with – either via API or EDI. Our developers will make sure that your systems don’t suffer any downtime as part of this process and your operations can continue to function as always – only now, with the added bonus of FreightTrust.
